Within These Walls exhibition

In those halcyon days known as pre-Covid, two of my digital prints were displayed in an exhibition as part of Brisbane Street Art Festival.

I’ve always loved cityscapes and horizons, but I found I hadn’t really incorporated anything like that into my personal art up to this point. The words are inspired by that glowing city skyline that’s peeking between the buildings in the foreground of this one.

I thought it might be interesting to break apart the ampersand to show how my block letters work. Illustrator has a pretty powerful 3D tool built-in, but I haven’t ever used it in my art.
